The Gospels in Scouse
The Gospels in Scouse is a vernacular version from the Liverpool area translated by Dick Williams and Frank Shaw in 1967, revised in 1977. Frank Shaw was a Catholic Irish customs officer and Dick Williams a Protestant minister, both from Liverpool. The translation follows J. M. Thompson's edition of the synoptic Gospels.
